Meet our Staff

Behind every service we provide is a dedicated team of professionals, each bringing their unique expertise and enthusiasm to our business.

Duke

Owners Dog/Treat Tester

Duke is the owner's dog and if you see him, be sure to stop and say hi! Duke was rescued 2 years ago from the Beatrice Humane Society. He is now thriving in his furever home with Cliff and enjoys soaking up loads of attention & treats from all the human and furry friends he meets.

Cliff DeBoer

Owner

As the owner of Pet Central Station, my journey began in Sacramento after experiencing the heartbreaking loss of a beloved pet due to poor-quality food. That moment changed everything. I knew there had to be a better, safer way for pet parents to care for their animals.

From that passion, Pet Central Station was born: a trusted space where pet owners can find the best food on the market, connect with reliable groomers, and access a clean, safe, and affordable self-wash station for their dogs.

My mission is simple—to give every pet the chance to live a healthier, happier life.

Kelly Donnel

Nutritionist/Manager

We built Pet Central Station from the ground up after relocating from Sacramento. My passion for pet health and nutrition led me to pursue specialized education focused on understanding pet food at a deeper level.

Through my training, I became well-versed in pet food ingredients, learning how to read and interpret guaranteed analysis labels, convert nutrients to a dry matter basis, and feed pets based on their individual caloric needs. This knowledge allows me to guide pet owners in making informed, healthy choices tailored specifically to their pets.

Our mission is simple: to help pets live longer, healthier lives through proper nutrition and education.

Kassy

Assistant Manager

Kassy is our wonderful Assistant Manager here at Pet Central Station and has been part of our family for three years now! She’s worked with animals her whole life, from volunteering with rescues to caring for her own dogs—a sweet 12-year-old Golden Retriever/Catahoula mix and a playful 6-year-old Boxer mix. Her love for animals' shines through in everything she does, whether she’s helping customers find the perfect products for their pets, helping out your furry pups with nail trims, or giving extra cuddles to the furry visitors who come through our doors. When she’s not at work, Kassy enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and their pups. They enjoy going to the movies, taking walks in the park, and having family game nights. She brings the same kindness, energy, and fun spirit to her personal life that she shares with everyone at Pet Central Station!

RyLeigh

Senior Front Staff

RyLeigh has been part of our team for the past seven months, and her love for dogs' shines through in everything she does! She’s been a dog lover her entire life and truly believes there’s nothing better than having a tiny, loyal sidekick who thinks you are their whole world. At home, she’s the proud pet parent of a 9-pound Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who will be turning 15 this year — proof that big personalities definitely come in small packages! Her pup may be little, but the bond they share is huge. RyLeigh knows firsthand that there’s something incredibly special about being your dog’s favorite person and their safest place on the planet. When she’s not spending time with furry friends at work, you’ll find her embracing her inner homebody — diving into video games, listening to her favorite music, and recharging for her next day of tail wags and happy greetings. No matter where she goes, RyLeigh can’t resist saying hello to every dog she meets (and they seem to love her right back!). Her passion, warmth, and genuine love for animals make her a perfect fit here and your pets are sure to feel right at home with her, too!

Celie

                Front Staff

Celie has been a valued member of the Pet Central Station team for the past few months and has quickly found her place doing what she loves most working with animals. She has always had a passion for caring for pets and is thrilled to be part of a team that shares that same dedication. At home, Celie has two beloved shih-poos, Cleo (7 years old) and Eliza (14 years old), who mean the world to her. Whether she’s cuddled up with them watching a good show or spending time out with friends, her dogs are always at the heart of her world. One of Celie’s favorite parts of working at Pet Central Station is greeting all the pups who come through the door. She loves making each dog (and their owners!) feel welcome and enjoys being part of their health and wellness journey.

                               ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I take my two dogs to The Pet Station regularly, and it’s hands-down one of the best self-serve dog wash options in Lincoln—especially if you have multiple dogs. The tubs are easy to use, the staff is always helpful, and there are tons of shampoo and grooming options (de-shedding, oatmeal, wipes, dryers, ramps—everything you need). What really makes it worth it are the monthly deals, like half-off washes and discounted nail trims, which add up fast when you’re caring for more than one dog. Consistently great value and perfect for multi-dog household.

This place is so fun! You go in and wash your dogs, and they clean up the mess for you! Thanks for helping me with my little dog!

Alysha Zimmerman

Bailey loves going here. He gets his nails trimmed and his ears cleaned (he's very prone to ear infections) and they handle him with confident and gentle hands. Bailey's always happy after his grooming and a treat for being such a good boy.
